Just a quick post to say that yes, the husband and I are back in the Haute from our happy-fun-time trip to Ohio. We're waiting for my little bro to show up to spend the next week with us. Kitty was glad that we were back, and apparently she was quite the guard cat while we were away. We had our neighbor and good friend come over to feed her and Squeak, and she got very defensive and hissed at him because she figured he wasn't supposed to be here. So in honor of being back and being with Kitty, I'm putting up a comic I drew about her last week. Enjoy!

Addendum: The little bro got here safe and sound, and we went out to eat then to do some grocery shopping. We found a new collar for Kitty, and while it's not green, it is quite stylish. Funny side note: it's the exact same collar as the one she's been wearing for who-knows-how-many years, except that instead of black, it's blue. 🙂 Enjoy the pics; it was easier to get the collar on her than to take a picture of it!

If Kitty is an indoor bundle of fur and adventure, why does she have a collar and tag? Is it a requirement in your location? Our ffour-legged fury family member doesn't require one in our home.

Hmmm, lets see if I can make a response like the wife would…Because ninja assassins can either become invisible when stalking their prey or they can channel their ki and walk though walls. Either way, kittie WANTS outside, we just don't let her.
You never know:
We keep the collar and tag on her just in case she accidentally gets out like when the rental people come by to show our place or when a friend comes over and doesn't shut the door right away. Better safe than sorry. The husband and I would be mortified if anything were to happen to our little bundle of fur and adventure.

Oh and by the way, the diet food is so not working for kitty, you might want to get her doing some Taebo while you're away.
