I did actual work yesterday

I&#039m not at home where my quotes document is and I&#039m not in Brad&#039s office too look at his quote book, so no quote today. I&#039m at work though, and other than stopping to take a break to type this up, I&#039m doing actual work for now. Admittedly, it&#039s all just editing stuff and looking various handbooks and manuals up on-line to know what to edit, but it&#039s still something. I like editing. It&#039s fun. When I get done doing this, I have the option of doing more data entry as well. I really like data entry. Dad&#039s a mechanical engineer and Mom&#039s a librarian. Data and organization run in my veins like giant radioactive rubber pants, and the pants command me. 🙂 Yup, been watching far too much Invader Zim recently, obviously. I love that show.

But at any rate, it&#039s grey and dreary here which is cool &#039cause it means black T-shirt day and less sweat though it is really muggy still. I won&#039t be walking with the rest of the gang here at the tutoring center during lunch &#039cause I plan on wandering over to the library and pestering my little sister and to see how they&#039re doing about getting that staff position open for the fall. Honestly, I&#039d be just fine doing the whole grad assistant/tutor and library student worker thing again. I&#039d even teach Univ 101 again if that&#039s what it comes down to. I like working in both places. I like being a tutor &#039cause I&#039m imparting my vast knowledge onto the next generation of French students, and I love cataloguing &#039cause it means I get to play OCD for a while and no one tries to cart me off to the crazy house for girls. It&#039s win-win, really. Thankfully, I have a couple months before I have to seriously start worrying about it too much. I mean, I&#039ll still worry about it (thank you General Anxiety Disorder), but I won&#039t worry as much as I could.

So, back to work with me. I think I might beat on these printers just a little while longer to see if I can&#039t get that @#$*&%! pdf file to print off for me. If not, well, that&#039s that much more time I&#039m spending here at work trying to work but not actually being able to. Bizarre.
