Well, as of yesterday, Simon returned home and took the husband with him. By the end of Simon’s visit, Kitty was getting tired of having another person around the house, and I’m sure the random opening/closing of windows to let in/prevent cold air got to her as well. I like our apartment. For the most part, it’s a really, really great place. Sure, we could use more counter space in the kitchen, as usual, and we could probably stand better handrails on the staircases, but for the most part, it’s been just fine. Random updates: Simon seems to be enjoying himself by reading a lot of on-line comics, poking the cat, and introducing us to Wii games. It is unfortunate that his character was killed Saturday in the DnD game, but his character will be brought back to life at a later date, and he seems to be interested in the new character he has rolled up who will be his first character’s half sister.
