Scattered

At some point I need to get my life back on track. Then again, I don’t know that my life has ever really traveled along one track, ever. At the moment, I think I simply have too much going on in my head and not enough of it getting out and organized or done. I mean, yeah, it’s great I focused on doing th Etsy stuff for a brief period, but there’s a lot of directions I want to take that which Continue reading

Ankle biters

I like running around barefoot. I don’t wear shoes or socks around the house, and whenever I’m just going outside for a little while or just going outside to sit on the porch and crochet while the cat’s running around the yard, I simply wear flip-flops or sandals. The major problem with this, of course, is that outside is where the mosquitos are, and I attract mosquitos faster than a Playboy Continue reading

Season 8

So I’m in season 8 of the X-Files. Needless to say, I’ve been watching a lot of the X-Files. We only just got all the rest of the seasons late last month, and I’m already 7.5/9ths through them. Hmm, some might look at that number as bad math. I’m not because it’s nearly three in the morning and I’m watching an episode about a guy who’s on drugs using his third eye to kill people Continue reading

Sore thumb

The day is barely half over, and it has already been a very long day. I went to bed around two, which isn’t that bad, and after falling asleep around three, I woke up only twice during the night. I got up with Ian when his alarm went off at ten and booted up WoW whilc he got ready for work. He shaved off most of his beard and went down to just the mustache and goatee and was Continue reading

Annoying critters

I’m going to have to respray the outside of the house again with bug killer. While the product says it’s good for many months, it appears it’s really only good for about a month. Either that or we have incredibly persistent and resiliant bugs. There are ants around Kitty’s food dish again, and Ian pulled yet another deer tick from my arm last night. Hoo-ray. Damn bugs. If they weren’t so Continue reading

Successful Day

Yesterady was a good day. First off, Ian and I went to the Doyles to hang out with just about everyone: Fred, Francie, Leslie, Jeff, Jill, Troy, Cameron, Erin, and a couple cats. We had fun hanging out with everyone just chit-chatting, and Dad made steaks which made the chit-chatting a little more difficult because everyone was too busy drooling over the great dinner. I think I need Continue reading

New stuff

The husband and I did a little shopping yesterday. The impromptu shopping session was sparked by yet another dropped call on my cell phone. I like my cell phone, for the most part. It lets me take pictures, use an old video game song for my ringtone, and since we recently picked up a memory card for it, it even lets me keep craploads of music on it that I really don’t ever listen to. Continue reading

Cool day

Wednesday was a great day because so much fun stuff happened. The day started off with me continuing my spring cleaning. I’ve been working on cleaning up a lot of the boxes that have been sitting in one corner of our living room since we moved in. I’ve done quite a bit with it as well as cleaning up my desk, and I’ve even started on the bedroom which really hasn’t been touched at Continue reading

Sudden sickness

I’ve been going to bed pretty late lately. Three or four in the morning is not unusual since I’ve always been a night owl and would rather stay up late and get up late than go to bed early and get up early. So I went to bed today at 4 am which means I got to sleep closer to 4:30 because as a chronic insomniac, it takes quite a while to conk out even when I’m really tired. Around 6, I woke Continue reading

Good and bad

First the good: today is Ian and my eleventh anniversary. Eleven whole years…madness. Who’d’ve thought it’d last this long? When we first started dating, we didn’t. But here we are and I’m so happy to have him that sometimes I feel like I might explode from all the happiness. I loven you, Baby Doll! You rock my world. 🙂 (And you keep me sane.) Continue reading
