Snow

It’s snowing. It was mostly flurries whenever I came home, but now it’s coming down a little harder in large light flakes that blow and billow in the gusting winds. I used to think Terre Haute was windy, but Jasper could give it a run for its money some days. Today’s not quite one of those days, but it’s windy enough that the snow is having trouble sticking to anything because it’s just getting blown from point A to point B to point C back to point A all over again. The Mom-mobile is, however, decently frosted and coated to where I can’t see the blackened roof from all the pollen that accumulated during the time she spent under a tree. Snow is just fine; sleet sucks. I wonder if it’ll accumulate at all tonight.

    Old snow:

I think part of melting snow has to do with you living in town. Heat islands of towns cause snow to melt quicker. This snow did melt at the Bramble house today though.

    Dunno:

It didn't melt like this when we were living in Terre Haute, but being in town definitely means it comes off the roads fast 'cause of all the plowing and driving. Ian and I think it might have something to do with being further south and nearer the river, but it's hard to tell. Jasper may just be weird.
