Today serves a double purpose in my family: it’s Mom’s birthday as well as Father’s Day! To be honest, this happens quite a bit, it seems, so it’s not new or altogether surprising, but it does mean I get to acknowledge both parents at once, just for different reasons. First: for Mom being born so that I could be born, and second: that Dad’s a dad so that I could be born. Hmm, they kinda go together, don’t they? 😉 So Happy Birthday Mom and Happy Dad’s Day Dad! I’ll probably call the house later to tell you in person, but I never have any idea when you’re home, so I’ll probably end up calling one or both of the cell phones. Hope your day goes well and that you get a chance to go do something fun together. I love you both! ^_^
