Woman –> Women
Human –> Humans
Why isn't the plural of "human" "humen"?
Can't tell it's two in the morning, can you?

Um…:
…because it would sound too much like the herb Cumin?
Oh….:
…and that's pronounced like Q-min, get your mind out of the gutter.
Ehm,:
Yeah, I know how it's pronounced. We use that spice regularly in cooking, especially chili. The letter "c" in English does have that bizarre property to be followed with a semi-vowel when the following vowel is "u." Isn't orthography fun? 🙂
semi?:
Does that mean it's like a semi sweet chocolate chip or is it a poser vowel?
Poser.:
Though if they made your mouth taste like chocolate when you said them, I'd say things like "yayayaya" or "wawawawa" all the time. I'd be a raving, chocolate looney, but I'd be a happy raving, chocolate looney.
