Well, the weekend is nearly upon us. I haven't posted as much this week as I would have liked, but then again, things have been pretty hectic at work this week because of registration for the fall semester. I almost can't get out for lunch sometimes because students come in at such random times. If lunch were at eight in the morning or at four in the afternoon, I'd be fine because most students don't come in at those times. That's why I cleaned out Cthulu's tank at 8 rather than wait until this afternoon. Lunch is going to be on-campus because one of our former employees is in town. After work? I'm thinking shopping. I need new spring and summer clothes for work which have short sleeves so I don't burn up at work. I'm thinking shorts or skirts or maybe just a mumu or something. Can't decide.
Pause.
Student came in. This one actually had already decided what her schedule figured out. Awesome. So where was I? Oh yeah, this weekend. So tomorrow will be spent doing something until 6:15 when George is picking me up so we can go to the Presidential Scholars dinner. No DnD because Jamie and Lushbaugh are going out of town and I'll be gone. That means more time for the husband to play SWG and read forums, hehe.
At some point this weekend, I need to write the final exam for Univ 101 as well as write a study guide for them for Monday. I'm giving my presentation in Ling 619 Tuesday. I was the only person to volunteer to go the first day. Everyone else was cringing back, far back. Of course, the class has already decided that I'm the hugest brown-noser alive because I'm the only one to take notes, was the first to turn in the annotated bibliography, was the first to turn in the rough draft for my paper, and probably am the first to have turned in the final version. <Sigh> Such a goody-two-shoes.
Other than a mad grading session to try and catch up on the 1" stack of crap which has been accumulating, I don't have much else going on. There's still archiving comics so that I can catch up and then link them on my links page (which, btw, I have reorganized).
I could type more (as usual), but the weather has my head acting up as well as my right leg (so I've been limping since yesterday morning). I'm going away now. So you leave too. 😛
