When I change into my pjs, I generally toss my jeans or khakis onto the corner of the bed. The first time I did it, I was just dropping them where I stood, but now I do it because Kitty seems to have developed a bizarre love for sitting on them. Occasionally she'll even nip at the buttons or shove her paw in a pocket as if there's something dangerous there. Just this evening though, I was being goofy and plopped the jeans on her. She smacked at them for a while, then when I let the front drop while holding onto the belt loop so the jeans were open, she just up and climbed right in. She has a thing for "caves," little pockets under a blanket or sheet where she can curl up and "explore." I guess she figured that since she already loved sitting on the jeans, why not sit in the jeans? I got a couple pics of her being so absolutely adorable that I just couldn't refrain from putting the pics up for all to see. She's so cute!

It is well known that the hermit cat, or vagus cattus will select a pair of jeans to use as its lair. As the hermit cat grows, it will move on, in search of newer, larger jeans in order to remain safe from predators. Note the ambush style of hunting as shown in figure one.
