The mind boggles

First off, I want to wish my nephew Kyle a happy 3rd birthday. Go Tasmanian Devil!

I&#039ve had several post ideas in my head over the past week, but I haven&#039t really gotten around to writing any of them down (clearly). I&#039ve had two twelve-and-a-half hour days this week and generally have wanted nothing more than to sleep or at least try to sleep. I&#039ve found that the busier I am, the more I dream. I suspect the reasoning for dreaming so much is because my brain doesn&#039t have the time to work through extraneous information through the day because I&#039m so busy, so it mashes/mooshes/crams/explodes all of the remainder into crazy dreams which make no more sense than I usually do. This is unfortunate because while my brain gets some relief from all the input that is bombarding it, my body doesn&#039t because dreaming wears me out as I tend to wake up often and generally just feel like I&#039ve just lived another (albeit insane) day overnight. But, at least it&#039s the weekend. That means time to pretend I&#039m catching up on the chapters/assignments/papers/e-mails that I let slip over the course of my busy week. Here&#039s to hoping I get something more productive done than just beating another level of &#034Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets&#034 PlayStation 2 game. Time for work. No rest for the wicked. (Though I can&#039t honestly say what I&#039ve done to be bad…)
