First off, happy birthday to my Aunt Pamela!
And mainly, today's my first day of teaching! Well, my first day teaching French stuff, but that doesn't matter. What matters is that I'm bouncing around going out of my mind with worry, anxiety, excitement, dread, optimism, elation, fear, paranoia, hunger, and a little confusion this morning. First I have an hour of work at the library, then I have to remember the route to SMWC, and finally I teach!! I spent most of yesterday working on my syllabus, my class schedule, and my lesson plans for today. I'm pretty sure that I'm ready, but I can't help but be worried anyway. The chances of me actually exploding and bursting into flames are nil, however, so I think that I'll do okay. Here's to wishful thinking! At any rate, I have to go hop in the van and vroom off to the library now. I'm so excited!

I tried….:
to leave you my best wishes for a great frist day, yesterday, but alas, rantfest was festering in apparent technology defecation. In other words, it had shit the bed.
So, now I am a day late, but I hope you had a fantastic time teaching yesterday!
Yippee!:
I'm glad you had a great first day (because I have insider knowledge, hehe)!
Wish I were that joyous about it…:
Yeah, I get to teach introductory bio labs, and I'm more scared than anything. I hope that I end up enjoying it like you do.
