"The car has become the carapace, the protective and aggressive shell, of urban and suburban man." -Marshall McLuhan
Just a quick note to say that today's my first day back at the library for the semester. I'm working only a few hours a week, but considering my insane schedule this semester, it's a wonder that I'm going to work there this semester at all. I'm definitely going against the advice of lots of people, but I really like the library and it's just in the mornings anyway, though I guess technically I could be using that time to sleep in, hehe.
But in addition to all that, I have to run by the bank, run by Macheak's office, and run by some photocopy place to make copies of my syllabus for my class. Oh, and I have to e-mail McCammon (the dude at SMWC) for my class roster. I don't know the names of any of the girls in my class yet! And I have to finish filling out the applications/forms for SMWC to turn in tomorrow morning. I also have to get a birthday card for my Aunt Pamela's birthday tomorrow. Oh, and dishes need to be done. And I need to clear my desk off to get ready for classes. And I need to figure out which books that I bought several weeks ago go with which classes. Damn. This isn't turning out as quick as I thought it would! Good thing the husband's going to be home today because he can help me keep from losing my head in all this mess. At any rate, it's time for work. Laters.
