Library time

&#034The car has become the carapace, the protective and aggressive shell, of urban and suburban man.&#034 -Marshall McLuhan

Just a quick note to say that today&#039s my first day back at the library for the semester. I&#039m working only a few hours a week, but considering my insane schedule this semester, it&#039s a wonder that I&#039m going to work there this semester at all. I&#039m definitely going against the advice of lots of people, but I really like the library and it&#039s just in the mornings anyway, though I guess technically I could be using that time to sleep in, hehe.

But in addition to all that, I have to run by the bank, run by Macheak&#039s office, and run by some photocopy place to make copies of my syllabus for my class. Oh, and I have to e-mail McCammon (the dude at SMWC) for my class roster. I don&#039t know the names of any of the girls in my class yet! And I have to finish filling out the applications/forms for SMWC to turn in tomorrow morning. I also have to get a birthday card for my Aunt Pamela&#039s birthday tomorrow. Oh, and dishes need to be done. And I need to clear my desk off to get ready for classes. And I need to figure out which books that I bought several weeks ago go with which classes. Damn. This isn&#039t turning out as quick as I thought it would! Good thing the husband&#039s going to be home today because he can help me keep from losing my head in all this mess. At any rate, it&#039s time for work. Laters.
