It’s three in the morning, and I just finished typing the second novel in my fantasy series! It’s 276 pages long (pre-editing) and 133,884 words (again, pre-editing). It’s just slightly shorter than the other two completed novels in the series, but that’s not a big deal. When hand-writing the whole mess, I was actually afraid it may end up being longer since it felt that way. I might’ve rushed the ending a little, so now that I know it’s not quite as long as the other two, I may use those couple pages to flesh out a few clipped scenes. Still, it’s exciting that I finished this today ’cause now I can tell people at the Local Author Fair that my second book is ready for editing, etc. Yay! Now, sleep.
