Movie day

So today I decided to take a break from writing or typing up more of the novel and to just play games on my Nintendo DS, watch movies on Netflix, and do laundry. I started off with Legend just because Ian and I loaned out our DVD of it, I’ve not seen it since. After that I watched Crimson Tide because I like submarine movies and had yet to see this one. It was good, and I enjoyed it. After that was Eyes Wide Shut, another film with Tom Cruise but this one–because it’s a Kubrick film–was very different from the first, but still insane. I watched an Italian movie from the 1950s called Submarine Attack because I wanted to watch more submarine movies, but this one was a pretty big flop. Following in the vein of bad movies, I thought I’d try to find a campy horror or action movie. I came across a dubbed Japanese flick that was about twenty or so years old called Invaders of the Lost Gold, but about twenty minutes in I just couldn’t take anymore. There are bad movies that are funny because they’re bad, and then there are those that are bad because they’re simply bad. This was one of the latter. After that, I don’t remember what I did a search on, but I came across Much Ado about Nothing which I had likewise never seen before (but come to find out Ian watched it with Missy, his one and only ex). It too had Denzel Washington like Crimson Tide (odd how I kept repeating main actors like that), but in this movie he had a mustache and goatee and was looking incredibly hot. I mean, damn! I thought he was cute when I was watching Crimson Tide, but just adding the facial hair made him so much cuter. 🙂 I’m going to try and find Malcom X either on Netflix or Hulu to watch next. And in the tradition of my sister who posts pictures of hot men, I post these so you too may enjoy. 😀

    DS:

Did you get caught up with ACWW? I still haven't seen the steam roller or three outfits. About the only change I've had over the last several months is earning several millions bells but not near enough to get to the next prize. I'm almost ready to move on.

    Love, Dad

    Oddly enough:

I am all but caught up on Animal Crossing. I had played Pokémon most of the day, but switched to Animal crossing around ten. I forgot to check how many bells I've got. One of these days I should dump all my bells in your town to see how much that'll help you get to the end goal. The store was closed so I couldn't look for the steam roller. Stupid steam roller! I think I might play ACWW some more today to figure out what all goals I still haven't met (besides earning tons of bells).
