Headaches

The past couple days have been filled with sporadic headaches. Generally I could attribute them to forgetting to eat, not having any caffeine in my system, or the weather fronts moving through. Yesterday’s, I believe, was due to all the time spent both on-line and on the phone. I spent the better part of an hour grumbling while taking office proficiency tests on-line for a local temp agency. Then I spent about two hours on the phone yelling at automated phone systems. After that was about a half hour screaming at the printer because it refused to print one page of the document I needed. I finally decided I needed to do something different before I started banging my head on my laptop. I ended up playing Puzzle Quest on my DS for a couple hours, trying to numb my brain. It probably would have worked better had I accompanied it with a few beers…or shots of vodka.

So far today has been spent playing on the DS and on WoW. I’m about to go outside on the porch to crochet some spiders or eyeballs for a while. I’ve got some podcasts to listen to and a groggy cat to keep me company. Too bad we’re out of soda; I think I feel a caffeine headache coming on. I might just have to brew some gunpowder or pu erh–you konw, something potent. Actually, a thermos full of pu erh doesn’t sound bad. Ian would say it sounds bad–he hates the stuff–but I think I might just go do that. Hopefully the rest of you are having a headacheless day. I’m gonna go braindead for a while.

    Lol oops!:

I didn't realize I didn't mention what gunpowder or pu erh are. They're types of tea. Gunpowder is a green tea rolled into little pellets (and is one of the major ingredients in Moroccan tea) and pu erh is a really, really strong black tea. If there were a type of tea that's most like coffee, it's a pu erh. The website I get it from describes it basically as "you either love it or hate it," and that's so true. I love it. 😉

    "head ache":

I don't recall having any headaches, but I'm pretty sure that I should have. I hope you didn't break Buster.
