I’m not going to get into the long, drawn-out explanation for why I’m up at four thirty in the morning because I don’t feel like it. Suffice it to say, I’m not asleep and as such had been spending my time trying to decide what to do with my non-sleeping time. After spending some time reading up on the subjunctive and conditional moods in English, in the end, I grabbed the notebook where I’ve been writing my second novel and began editing the last twenty pages or so. Then as I reached the point where I have been adding new content, I got to thinking about how I still haven’t gotten all of my first novel typed up on the computer. More than that, it has been a really long time since I’ve even added a chapter to the website for people to read. Undoubtedly, most of you (out of the three or four people who actually read this madness) have forgotten or were unaware that I’ve even been writing novels due to the general lack of talk about it on the main page. And since the side pages are of little or no use to anyone but me, I can probably safely assume no one has even visited the Writings page in a very long time. Well, here’s to trying to fix that. Here, at long last, is chapter 12 of my first novel (as yet unnamed because I suck at titles–hence the stupid name for my thesis: French Pejorative Suffixes), and looking at my saved document on the computer, I think I have chapter thirteen just about all typed up as well. It, of course, needs editing for web browser purposes as chapter twelve had, but at least it’s on the computer as opposed to collecting dust in the green French notebook on my desk. Neh. At any rate, while I am still feeling rather loquacious, I’m also finally feeling groggy. So it’s off to the snore room (because Ian fills it with snoring) for me. Good morning.
