I finally got a key to my office door! Today after my fourth class, I swung by the secretary’s office, and she said she’d stuck a note on my door telling me that my key was ready to be picked up at Facilities Management. Sweet ass! So I ran over there, signed for my key, and ran back to my office where I unlocked my door with my new key! I’m so happy, and it’s so shiny! 🙂 Now I can finally get in there whenever I want and not have to worry about whether the secretary’s there or not to let me in. Hell, I can even go in on the weekends now! Crazy!

In other news, sorry about the lack of TKT yesterday. This was for several reasons: 1) I gave a chapter test to three of my four classes Wednesday, so there was a buttload of grading to do; 2) whatever cold I fought off two weeks ago is coming back, so I’ve been alternating between hyped up on cold medicine and being unconscious (due to cold medicine, oddly enough); and 3) I just plain forgot until it was really late and I should have been in bed anyway but I wasn’t because I was grading tests/making lesson plans/writing the test for my fourth class. So no TKT yesterday. Work has kept me busy this week. Next semester, I need to work on my timing so all four of my classes aren’t taking tests in the same week.

And on a side note, uh, well, I thought I had a side note but now I’m thinking I either didn’t or I was confusing a brain fart for an idea. Oh well. I’m going to curl up in bed now because I’m sick and I need the rest. Blargh!
