Sore feet and a sore throat

Tuesdays are really hell on my feet and my throat. I teach at eleven in the morning and therefore stand and talk for an hour. Then I run back to the office to drop stuff off and pick stuff up for the next class. After about a half an hour, I go to the French Table at 12:30 and talk there for an hour during lunch. I have a little time between the French Table and my two o’clock class, but most of the time that’s spent talking with Keri on the way to Root Hall where I have a second campus mailbox which I check from time to time. Then it’s back to the Science Building where my two o’clock class is. Add another hour onto my feet and throat, then I walk back to my office. It’s essentially four hours of talking and walking almost nonstop. To say the least, it’s kinda annoying not to mention painful. The sun’s finally coming out right now, but earlier it was grey and muggy, perfect conditions for flaring up my arthritis as if all the walking didn’t already add to that. I’m just going to sit here for the hour I have left and not move and try not to talk (a feat, let me tell you). Ouch.
