A break

There&#039s no one scheduled to come to Sycamore Advantage for Open Preference today, so that means I get my morning back to check my e-mail (which I haven&#039t checked in about a week) and to clean my desk. Things got pretty hectic last week and I started just putting things anywhere like I do at home. I don&#039t like doing this because I have so many important projects to juggle and retrieve at a moment&#039s notice. So at any rate, I&#039ve got my morning back to spend doing my normal morning things. Heather&#039s not in today, so I can keep the office as warm as I like it without worrying about burning her to a crisp.

What I hope to spend my morning on is my @#$%^&*! thesis proposal. I worked on it yesterday until Dad called about the shirt I got for him which is supposed to read &#034Dad&#034 in binary but which is apparently more confusing than that. I should have had this damned rewrite done last week, but the energy for it just wasn&#039t there. So today I&#039ve got the laptop once more without any DVDs to watch while I&#039m typing and without my optical mouse so that no games will be played. I remembered a mug so I can make tea to help keep me awake this afternoon. I have to make a trip to the bank for quarters so I can do laundry tonight because I need clothes for work. Yippee. Oh well, back to the grind.
