Random update

Happy birthday, Simon! Shorty&#039s fifteen now (as well as about seven inches taller than me) and will be hitting high school in the fall. Ian and I made a run to LGT yesterday to give him and Mom their birthday presents (Mom&#039s is the 17th) and hang out a while. We found out that Sarah is officially in St. Louis now for her internship, so we didn&#039t get to see her while we were down. We saw a lot of Tommy and his random racing game where half the time he wasn&#039t even driving. That was a lot of fun to make fun of. 😀

This week marks the end of dealing with the Academic Planner and the beginning of Sycamore Advantage (summer orientation for in-coming freshmen and transfer students). Heather and I should be done with all the student schedules by Friday when orientation officially begins. In addition, I have a number of e-mails and phone messages to get back to, and I need to set up a rendez-vous with Tony about my research proposal. It&#039s mostly written, but technically not finished yet. Hence the three binders and laptop which were lugged in today making my desk more of a monstrosity than usual. Oh well. Time to haul out Buster and start working on my proposal, I think. I want to get it mostly written by the end of work today because we need to do laundry tonight. More fun. I have a feeling Ian&#039s fixing food tonight &#039cause I&#039ll be too braindead to be allowed around open flames.
