Happy birthday, Simon! Shorty's fifteen now (as well as about seven inches taller than me) and will be hitting high school in the fall. Ian and I made a run to LGT yesterday to give him and Mom their birthday presents (Mom's is the 17th) and hang out a while. We found out that Sarah is officially in St. Louis now for her internship, so we didn't get to see her while we were down. We saw a lot of Tommy and his random racing game where half the time he wasn't even driving. That was a lot of fun to make fun of. 😀
This week marks the end of dealing with the Academic Planner and the beginning of Sycamore Advantage (summer orientation for in-coming freshmen and transfer students). Heather and I should be done with all the student schedules by Friday when orientation officially begins. In addition, I have a number of e-mails and phone messages to get back to, and I need to set up a rendez-vous with Tony about my research proposal. It's mostly written, but technically not finished yet. Hence the three binders and laptop which were lugged in today making my desk more of a monstrosity than usual. Oh well. Time to haul out Buster and start working on my proposal, I think. I want to get it mostly written by the end of work today because we need to do laundry tonight. More fun. I have a feeling Ian's fixing food tonight 'cause I'll be too braindead to be allowed around open flames.
