The case for Brannagh came in yesterday. I was pretty excited to see it and poke around in it. There's absolutely nothing in it besides cords and screws, so we'll have to install the motherboard, power supply, DVD rom, CD-R rom, 3 1/2 floppy drive, sound card, video card, ethernet car, fans… Uh, I think that's about it. I say "we'll" have to install it as though I will be doing much of anything at all. I think that the brunt of the installation process will be left up to the husband who has fortunately done this before. The ram came in today according to the reports I got from Ian earlier. I got an e-mail earlier as well saying that the motherboard/CPU are being delivered. Soon my master plans will come to fruition and I will have the almighty awesome computer I so desire! Mwahahaha!
But before that, there's a lot of other stuff going on tonight. Sarah and Jessica are coming over to enjoy Ian's beef stew and bread bowls after their class, then the three of us (Ian has declined going) are heading for a sort of shopping spree to help me work on my business wardrobe to help me look less stupid at the office. At least those two have a clue. I'm fully prepared to hate half (if not more) of the stuff we see because I can't stand pussy pastels or clothes that look cute but are uncomfortable as hell. Add to this the fact that I'm no petite beauty and you get a cranky, chubby nerd who's going to look goofy one way or another. We'll see how it all turns out. I'll have to try to remember to update on it later. For right now, I have a stack of papers to grade as well as lesson plans to write for tomorrow's class. Busy busy!
