Holy crap!

I think that Tuesdays and Thursdays are going to be my time warp days this semester. Maybe it&#039s not just those days, but the new job, but somehow time just goes away very quickly lately. I&#039m not complaining, mind you; I just find it very odd that it feels like I just got back from my one o&#039clock class to find that it&#039s now four and I have a half hour to go before heading out. I still have crap to do! I never heard back from that one woman about whether or not changing my username on Portal will affect whether or not I can log onto my computer (&#039cause it took them a week to get my old username to do that), I still need to get one of my guest speakers lined up &#039cause he never returned my call from the beginning of the year, I have to work up notes for tomorrow&#039s Univ 101 class as well as figure out who out of all my students e-mailed me their previous homework (which was to e-mail me), and I wanted to e-mail my class to let them know that I&#039ll be changing e-mail addresses yet again (from eringwald@mymail.indstate.edu to edoyle3@mymail.indstate.edu). What a mess! Well, that&#039s what going home is all about: dragging the work mess home after not being able to sort it out at work. Er, well, maybe that&#039s what going home is about. I was always under the impression that it was to get away from the work mess, but I&#039m beginning to think that I was mistaken. Oh well. Maybe tomorrow will be slower and I will be able to work on some of these things a bit more since I won&#039t be taking 3 hours out of my day with my own classes. Too bad it&#039s effing freezing outside &#039cause I could stand doing a little grocery shopping or something. After walking home in this, I am not walking back out in it until I have to. Brrr!
