I am now officially halfway through my first full week as an academic advisor. So far, I&#039ve seen students who needed to make completely new schedules, some who just wanted to add a class or two, some who just wanted to drop one, some who wanted placement tests, some who just wanted random advice, and a couple who really didn&#039t need to be here at all but came anyway. I&#039ve had my Univ 101 class twice so far, and the twenty-seven of them still seem to be breathing by the end of class, so I haven&#039t bored them to death yet. I&#039ve rearranged my office, rearranged the desk, and I&#039ve even nailed up a corkboard where I can put random stuff like pushpins. I&#039ve attended my own classes once this week and am really looking forward to both of them even though they&#039ll be a lot of work. Other than all that, I&#039ve played EQ2 of an evening and eaten a lot of chili. I&#039d say this week is going pretty well so far. Hooray for me!

My plans for the rest of this week involve me and my officemate rearranging the bookshelves and putting up more pictures on the walls to decorate more. She has a nice plant which is in an old chamber pot. I have Dilbert cling-ons on my window, and I plan on bringing some pictures to hang on the bare wall near me. Next week, I hope to bring in the new one-gallon fish tank I just bought so I can bring Cthulu in and keep him on my desk to keep me company. Exciting! But for now, I must potty. Hope everyone else&#039s hump-day is going okay.
