Well, I got stopped only four or five times on the interstate going across Indiana, but I actually made really good time. I left the Haute around 4, was stuck in wall-to-wall traffic there for about fifteen minutes, then zipped along at a merry 70 mph to Muncie which I hit at around 6:30. Not too bad for having to go through rush hour traffic through the capital. Since I got here early, that meant Nick could go to work at the planetarium (if we left pretty much immediately), so I got to watch a show about how planets are formed and how you find them. Regardless of how loud it was, it was warm (the room was packed), the seat was fairly comfy, and it was dark, so I snoozed a bit. Then we went to eat at Steak and Shake 'cause I hadn't eaten since uh… one? Back to his place, I tried posting to the web page, but I couldn't acess any of the ones we serve out of the apartment, so we watched a movie instead. After the long drive, the snoozing at the planetarium and having eaten a hot meal, I was pretty tired so I conked out. The only reason why I'm up this early is because I'm always up at this time during the week, and unfortunately, my @#$%^&* body seems to be used to that. Oh, and I think my sinuses are drying out from the car trip. Yippee. I told my students that I would have a head cold when I got back from this weekend. Oh well.
The agenda today looks like 1) waiting on Nick to wake up, 2) eating, 3)going to Nick's office where he's going to work on a lab report and I'll grade my French students' papers, 4) something between this and the evening, probably movies, video games, or shopping, and 5) watching the same planetarium movie again tonight 'cause it's Nick's job to be there.
So that's the excitement of my weekend. I'm just glad to have a change in scenery and to be able to pester my bud again. I already feel a little more relaxed, and the random thoughts were even coming back last night, so that's cool. I think I'm going to play a game or something. Laters!
Posted: October 2, 2004 at uh, damn, where's a clock? This isn't my place, so I don't know where the clocks are… Oh wait, there's one on the computer. It says that it's 7:16. 7:16?! In the morning?! Goddamned body just doesn't know when to relax, does it? <Grumble grumble> Stupid thing. I'm going to curl back up on the futon and try to force myself to conk out some more.

Good timing…:
Brigid was down about 10 minutes while I pulled out the old TDK writer (since CDRwin does not support DVD burners…and I like CDRwin), and you happened to visit during the extremly short time it was down…only you, Love.
Giggle:
Yeah, that does sound entirely like something I am capable of. Have I ever mentioned that I'm related to Murpheys? See you soon, love.
