I&#039m going to a conference!! I&#039m actually going to get up in front of dozens of people and present my own work to them and they&#039ll sit there and listen and be all like, &#034This person&#039s talking about something,&#034 and I will be! Er, that didn&#039t make as much sense as I wanted it to, but I&#039m pretty exhausted this week (which is really only going to get worse, hehe) so I&#039m not thinking all that straight. After all, I just finished my German homework and have yet to finish my lesson plans for tomorrow&#039s French class. But uh, where was I going with this? Oh yeah, the conference. So me and Macheak are gonna present our &#034Teaching French pronunciation through comic strips&#034 to people in Ohio and I&#039ll get all that conference experience before even leaving grad school!! This semester has been an awesome career builder, hasn&#039t it?

Quickly, speaking of Ohio, I&#039m gonna go there this weekend so don&#039t expect to see me around (as if I&#039ve been around much anyway) for a bit. Um, and the cat&#039s on the floor near my feet, so I can&#039t go make tea. I think. Or something. I really should go so I can finish this lesson plan and then go to bed. Although my brain may be fried, I am still excited about going to the conference in November. 🙂
