Happy birthday, Kitty!

First off, I have to say &#034Happy birthday&#034 to Kitty who is 6 today. I gave her her present of Tuna Feast, a flavor of Fancy Feast cat food. It&#039s gone now. She didn&#039t waste any time having her &#034cake&#034 and eating it too. 🙂 She&#039s spending her afternoon on her perch in her room. That&#039s fine by me because it means she&#039s out of my hair for the meantime. She spent the better part of her morning crawling under the dresser, sitting on my stomach and trying to get underfoot. She&#039s so cute. I should have gotten a party hat for her, but she would have just knocked it off then eaten the elastic cord. For a middle-aged cat, she sure doesn&#039t act very mature, lol.

Secondly, I&#039m pretty well finished with the cloak that I told Dave I&#039d make him a few weeks back. I spent Friday evening cutting out the pattern then cutting out the pieces from yards and yards of black canvas. Yesterday was spent either in front of the ironing board or the sewing machine. I took a brief break to play the Sims which I picked up on my recent trip to Muncie with Nick. I was up until 1:30 hand-stitching the last of the cloak and trimming the seams. I still have to put trim around the edges and sew the frog clasp on, but otherwise, it&#039s done. It&#039s absolutely huge on me, so it&#039ll probably fit Dave just fine. So there you have it. That&#039s been my weekend so far. I&#039m tired and will probably play some SWG a while while watching movies just to kill a few brain cells before working on lesson plans. Catch you later!

    My kitty is 8 too! But I dunno when his birthday is.. he was already born when we moved in (we found him and his brothers and sisters in one of our sheds).

    Nena is two (June I think) and Hitler will be one on Halloween.
