"Reading, after a certain age, diverts the mind too much from its creative pursuits. Any man who reads too much and uses his own brain too little falls into lazy habits of thinking." -Albert Einstein
I feel like reading. I feel like either re-reading all of the Harry Potter books 'cause I want to see the latest movie soon, or the Myth series just because they're my favorite books. I just bought some more books though, many of them by my fav author Asprin, so maybe I'll work on those. Then again, Macheak still has that list of thirty or so books and articles for me to read. And there are those twelve existentialist works that I picked up at the beginning of the summer, so there's always those to read… So much reading, so little time. At least since the little bro's coming up this weekend and he'll probably be on the computer a lot, it means that I can have lots of time to dedicate to reading. Or writing. Maybe I should work on my novel. So many options!
I walked four miles yesterday. Well, technically it was closer to six if you include the walk to and from work as well, but the four was with Lushbaugh and Dave up past the hospital just for exercise. I'm surprised my legs don't hurt today. Go me. Maybe I'm in better shape than I originally thought. Well, at least my legs are in better shape than I thought. The stomach is still a gut and the love handles aren't just going to disappear any time soon. I could always exercise all night while Simon's on my computer. That's an idea. Or dishes. Those need done. Actually, I need to do laundry 'cause I'm running out of shirts, I'm totally out of bras, and Ian's going to be bringing back all his dirty laundry from his parents' since he's returning today. And we need to go grocery shopping. Damn, maybe tonight's going to be a lot busier than I thought.
Well, as much as I'd like to keep typing on this, I really want to finish editing this chapter so I can get out of the computer lab. There's a bunch of idiot athletes making a ton of noise in here, and I wouldn't mind not having to listen to them complain about how they don't know how to use a computer or how they don't like doing homework or how they just want to go drinking. Dumb jocks. Oh well, off to editing.

Dumb jocks… hehe:
I have to borrow your Myth series, my library doesn't have them. 🙁 That is if you could spare them for a few months. 😉
Hmm…:
I think that I could survive. They're quick reads, and you're a quick reader so it probably woudln't take you too long to go through them two or seven times in a few months. 🙂 We'll just have to work out getting them over to you sometime.
