Drunk, baby.

&#034If you multiply 3D by 3D is that 6D or 9D?&#034 -Sarah Ringwald

Yeah, they&#039re so trashed. My little sister has the alcohol tolerance of a two-year-old, and the older sister (although she has been an alky for far longer) seems to have managed to get drunk just as quickly as the younger one. It&#039s pretty interesting to watch. I, however, after a Long Island Iced Tea, four Amaretto Sours (lost count of those, to be honest), and some sort of minty mixed drink (possibly called a Dirty Girl Scout?), while still buzzing, am not drunk. The younger sister&#039s boyfriend is pretty toasted, so hearing about their relationship is funny, and the bro-in-law is buzzing and laughing at his wife (my older sister) and my younger sister who insist upon dancing and talking about subjects that most would consider TMI (though, in my books, there is no such thing, as most familiar with me would atest to). My brother is currently passed out on the bathroom floor after one too many Bacardi and Dr. Peppers. My husband? He has sipped a few things, but he really doesn&#039t drink (god bless him), and therefore he&#039s trying to watch a movie while we&#039re listening to the bro-in-law&#039s music list (far too loud) and ignore the drunk people.

Since I have decided to drink less, watching other people drink more is interesting. I have to admit that I&#039m glad I decided that drinking isn&#039t all that interesting. I had forgotten just how much Amaretto Sours turn my stomach, so I&#039ve switched to ice water. No point in getting dehydrated before the four-hour car trip home tomorrow, after all. I mean, my sinuses have been acting up enough to where I don&#039t really want to tempt the Fates to fuck my system up more than necessary. I realize that by the time anyone reads this post, we here in Ohio will all be suffering from hangovers (well, some of us), and possibly on our various ways home. I just felt like saying something during the moment to commemorate the event. Enjoy.

    Just Curious…:
If amaretto sours turn your stomach, then why did you drink 4 of them. LOL

When you mentioned the music list all I could imagine was G yelling at the top of his lungs what music he has. :p Or, did you mean he's playing the music loud from his music list?

Good for Talem to be the smart one and not chase a hangover, btw what movie?

    Uh…:
Well, I like Amaretto Sours 'cause they don't taste a lot like alcohol…

And the music was far too loud. The bro-in-law was actually pretty quiet. I'm normally better about keeping my qualifiers and antecedants together, but well, I was drunk. Go figure.

And the movie was "Ninja Scrolls." 🙂
