Me: "You know, I've been thinking about all of my phobias, and I think I need to get over a couple of them." Ian: "Really? No shit!"
Ian's so cute. Kitty's so cute too. Here they both are being cute together:

Aren't they just adorable together? It looks like Kitty's trying to play on the computer with Ian! I have a bunch of other pictures of Kitty being cute, but I don't feel like trying to put them up right now because my sinuses are keeping me from being able to concentrate on anything for more than five minutes. The Sudafed is helping, believe me, but there's only so much that drugs can do, in my opinion. It doesn't help that it has been storming all evening either.
We got new tires today. I think tomorrow we're going to go get me an eye exam because I'd like to go back to contacts. We were going to do that Saturday, but between the cook-out and the sinuses, we just never got around to it. Hopefully nothing icky happens tomorrow to mess that up 'cause I'd just like to get this done and over with. I think I'd also like to get my hair trimmed. It's getting a bit more unruly than usual.
I don't think either of us have too much planned for this up-coming week. Tomorrow's a day off for both of us (Ian's on vacation, and it's a national holiday for me.), so we'll probably just bum around the apartment most of the day. The husband's going to make a trip to little Loogootee to visit his family on Tuesday, which means I'll have the apartment to myself to do…well, the same thing I do all the time: play video games, pester the cat, and sleep. Such an exciting life I lead, isn't it? Speaking of exciting, I just remembered that the car needs an oil change.
Oh, and before I forget, the husband and I are seriously thinking about getting a second car. I'm leaning towards getting a truck (They're just so handy, and I prefer being higher up off the ground anyway.), though a car would also be fine. If we get one, it probably won't be until July when I get my massive check from work and can afford the down-payment/insurance. It'll be weird having a car of my own! I think we're going to enlist the help of family to help us find and pick out a decent one. I've never bought a car before. So keep it in mind that I'm probably going to be in the market. Freaky.
That all being said and done, I think I'm gonna go back to converting all of my old poetry files into a more modern format. I'll probably end up converting the whole lot into RTF format just because not many people I know use Word Perfect (despite its obvious superiority to M$ Word), and if anyone were to request my poems, it'd save me the trouble of doing it on an individual basis. So, laters, peeps! Enjoy the thunderstorms. 🙂

Hmm…:
Fewer phobias would be much more normal. Hmm…then again, I can't really picture you normal. Oh well.
The gods were against me today:
Damn those storms. If it hadn't started to storm, Sarah would have come home earlier and I could have asked her out. Damn them to hell. Oh well, more sweet pain of anticipation I guess
Aw, that sucks.:
Man, that stinks that you didn't get to ask her out, Lushbaugh. That would have been cool. And yeah, anticipation can be fun. 🙂
And as for you, Nick: yeah yeah, no one ever calls me normal, that's for sure. I'm glad you're getting used to it. <Smirk>
hehe:
Can I pick which phobias you have to get over? hehe
And Kitty is cute…
Hmm…:
Gee, I dunno. It'd be kinda hard to get around to getting over the ladders one since we don't own any. I'm leaning towards just getting over the bugs and cars one soon. I'm around those too much!
