My cat and husband are cute!

Me: &#034You know, I&#039ve been thinking about all of my phobias, and I think I need to get over a couple of them.&#034 Ian: &#034Really? No shit!&#034

Ian&#039s so cute. Kitty&#039s so cute too. Here they both are being cute together:

&#034Ian

Aren&#039t they just adorable together? It looks like Kitty&#039s trying to play on the computer with Ian! I have a bunch of other pictures of Kitty being cute, but I don&#039t feel like trying to put them up right now because my sinuses are keeping me from being able to concentrate on anything for more than five minutes. The Sudafed is helping, believe me, but there&#039s only so much that drugs can do, in my opinion. It doesn&#039t help that it has been storming all evening either.

We got new tires today. I think tomorrow we&#039re going to go get me an eye exam because I&#039d like to go back to contacts. We were going to do that Saturday, but between the cook-out and the sinuses, we just never got around to it. Hopefully nothing icky happens tomorrow to mess that up &#039cause I&#039d just like to get this done and over with. I think I&#039d also like to get my hair trimmed. It&#039s getting a bit more unruly than usual.

I don&#039t think either of us have too much planned for this up-coming week. Tomorrow&#039s a day off for both of us (Ian&#039s on vacation, and it&#039s a national holiday for me.), so we&#039ll probably just bum around the apartment most of the day. The husband&#039s going to make a trip to little Loogootee to visit his family on Tuesday, which means I&#039ll have the apartment to myself to do…well, the same thing I do all the time: play video games, pester the cat, and sleep. Such an exciting life I lead, isn&#039t it? Speaking of exciting, I just remembered that the car needs an oil change.

Oh, and before I forget, the husband and I are seriously thinking about getting a second car. I&#039m leaning towards getting a truck (They&#039re just so handy, and I prefer being higher up off the ground anyway.), though a car would also be fine. If we get one, it probably won&#039t be until July when I get my massive check from work and can afford the down-payment/insurance. It&#039ll be weird having a car of my own! I think we&#039re going to enlist the help of family to help us find and pick out a decent one. I&#039ve never bought a car before. So keep it in mind that I&#039m probably going to be in the market. Freaky.

That all being said and done, I think I&#039m gonna go back to converting all of my old poetry files into a more modern format. I&#039ll probably end up converting the whole lot into RTF format just because not many people I know use Word Perfect (despite its obvious superiority to M$ Word), and if anyone were to request my poems, it&#039d save me the trouble of doing it on an individual basis. So, laters, peeps! Enjoy the thunderstorms. 🙂

    Hmm…:
Fewer phobias would be much more normal. Hmm…then again, I can't really picture you normal. Oh well.

  2. Lushbaugh

The gods were against me today:
Damn those storms. If it hadn't started to storm, Sarah would have come home earlier and I could have asked her out. Damn them to hell. Oh well, more sweet pain of anticipation I guess

    Aw, that sucks.:
Man, that stinks that you didn't get to ask her out, Lushbaugh. That would have been cool. And yeah, anticipation can be fun. 🙂

And as for you, Nick: yeah yeah, no one ever calls me normal, that's for sure. I'm glad you're getting used to it. <Smirk>

Gee, I dunno. It'd be kinda hard to get around to getting over the ladders one since we don't own any. I'm leaning towards just getting over the bugs and cars one soon. I'm around those too much!
