"Life is a simile." –Terry Carr
I did the laundry this morning. I'd like to think that's productive, but well, beyond that I haven't done much. I mean, I also put the laundry up, but since that's part of doing the laundry, I guess it really doesn't count in my list of "productive" things I've done. I played some SWG, I ate a sandwich, I yelled at Brigid 'cause I realized I don't remember how to use the DVD player in the Linux system that the husband just put on her, I lit a couple candles, I pet the cat, checked my e-mail… Massive wastes of time, let me tell you. I guess about the only interesting thing I've done all afternoon is talk to Nick for a while on the phone so I could listen to his complaints about the fact that his parents won't get DSL (The poor guy's stuck with a 56k modem <Shudder>.) Beyond that? Nope. Nothing. The husband just got home so I figure I'll have something to do now (I'm hungry and might fix food.) so I'm gonna let you all (all four or five of you) go now. Laters!
