First day on the job

&#034I&#039m never going to get back down to my birth weight.&#034 –Brad Byers

So today was my first day doing random office things at the tutoring center. I&#039m not sure I&#039d call it overly productive, but the summer session really has just started. I got to flip through a handbook trying to figure out what old information needs updating, then I leafed through the telephone book to make sure the numbers listed in the handbook were up-to-date. I helped stuff envelopes for about an hour. I&#039m surprised I didn&#039t end up with any paper cuts. Normally if I so much as brush up against a piece of paper, I get paper cuts. I ran an errand across campus, and spent some time trying to figure out how to log onto a computer. Um… I know I did some other stuff in there besides talk to people, but there wasn&#039t a whole lot. I&#039ll be picking up more projects soon once the summer advising begins in June and I have to administer tests, make phone calls and do data entry. Um, that&#039s about it. Not really exciting so far. Um…sooooo…yeah. I&#039m gonna let you go now and go play SWG. Later!
