Posted: 2005-04-24 12:40:21, by ErandoYeah, I know how it's pronounced. We use that spice regularly in cooking, especially chili. The letter "c" in English does have that bizarre property to be followed with a semi-vowel when the following vowel is "u." Isn't orthography fun? :)semi?
