Finality

It’s all over.

I’m far too exhausted to get into a long post about the hell I’ve been through the past several weeks. Instead, I’ll just throw a bunch of pictures up here and put captions under them to explain the past two weeks. I’m going to make them all thumbnails so there’s less loading time for those of you on dial-up. That means you have to click on the thumbnail to get the entire picture. Duh. Continue reading

This weekend

The parents are going to pick me up tonight to head to LGT. Tomorrow, we’re hitting Hooters and a night club in Indianapolis for the bachelorette party. We’ll stay the night there in some hotel. Friday, when we come back, all the bride’s maids and Sarah are getting manicures. Everyone else but me will also be getting pedicures. My toenails are too diabetically-challenged for anyone to Continue reading

Brown again

Well, the hair is back to brown for the time being. Since I just now dyed it, it’s still wet and I can’t tell yet how dark it will be. I have a feeling that it’ll be darker than my natural brown, but who cares? I’ll just turn around in a week or two and dye it red again (I already have the bottle of red dye upstairs in the bathroom closet). The only reason why I dyed it brown right now is because Continue reading

First week off finale

Simon and I are watching the cut scenes of Clerks. We played through the old Shivers game again, and I’ve picked the game 9 again, but I don’t know that I’ll finish it through. It’s a very sound-oriented game and it’s hard to play with any background noise. The biggest fault I find with the game is the lack of captioning or other accomodations. Shivers has captions. Continue reading

First week off so far

I think it would be more bizarre this week if Simon weren’t up. As it is, it just feels like a really long weekend with insane amounts of DnD, corn dogs, and Mountain Dew. Next week will probably feel much odder. So far since my last day on Friday, we’ve had a cook-out at the Lushbaugh’s, played some random DnD with Simey and worked on his character, and watched a Continue reading

Sore feet

Lots of random stuff going on lately. It’s all random enough that I’m not sure what order to put it all in. I’ll just start with the webpage because that’s what I was just working on. I went through and cleaned up my comics links a bit more. I wonder if it’s sad that 90% of the links on my links page are webcomics. Eh, it’s a hobby. Everyone’s gotta have a hobby. I went through my links and Continue reading

Happy birthday, Simon!

The little brother is now 16 today! It’s really his special day because it’s 06/06/06! Wait, 666? Yeah, that sounds like Simon. 😉 At any rate, happy birthday, Freckle Bomb! It was great having you up here to watch silly cartoons, play lots of video games and read comics! Kitty says “meow” to you or something, I’m sure. One way or the other, she’s crazy, you’re crazy, and it’s all a bunch Continue reading

Weekend ramblings

I’m not in the mood to type up a lot about this weekend, but I’ll give a run-down anyway because typing might help to keep me awake for another ten minutes. Friday after work I was tired from having sat in the office all day. Lack of sunlight drains my energy faster than repeats of “Mama’s Family” on TV. So rather than hit X3 that night, I talked Lushbaugh into seeing a Monday matinee. Continue reading

Braindead weekend

Well, I managed to use as few brain cells this weekend as possible. When I wasn’t sleeping, I was either playing Lego Star Wars, cross stitching, watching movies, or surfing. Pretty boring weekend for the most part. I did finish off all of the first episode of Lego Star Wars, which is cool. I dragged Buster in to work today, and I figure I’ll work on Jerry for a while. Heather’s not in, so all Continue reading

Insert pithy title here

Still plagued by horrible sleep. Last night it was constantly waking up after dreams of teaching inordinately large classes or dreams of inventing new TV shows and merchandise. The only reason why I bothered to get up at all this morning was to come in and unlock the office door for Heather. We still don’t have the second key to this room, which really bothers me. It’s in the hands Continue reading
