Now that I have pictures taken with the camera (as opposed to the phone), I put the turnips up on Etsy just a little bit ago. As far as jack-o-lanterns go, these are pretty adorable and unique. In fact, they’re the only jack-o-lantern turnips I could find on Etsy that were crocheted (or made out of anything else, for that matter). I have only five of them at the moment, but if I start selling them, I’ll make more. They are actually fairly quick to make. The spiders take a bit because of all the legs, and the bats might take a while because I’m still working on the wing pattern. I found one that seems all right, but it’s a little small and I haven’t come up with a great way to enlargen it. I do have a lot of spiders done already with another one nearly complete, but I haven’t taken pictures yet so they aren’t up on Etsy. I’ll get there. 🙂

And speaking of Etsy, I made my first sale this weekend! To Sarah! Lol. She bought some of the cute little clay snail magnets for her office. Hooray for Sarah! Hopefully she’s the first of many sales. 🙂 I’ll be hitting the post office Monday to mail out the magnets. You can mail magnets, right? I mean, it doesn’t mess up the equipment or anything, I think. It’s not like these are neodynium (sp?) or anything, hehe.

At any rate, it’s uh, two in the morning and my brain is starting to shut down. I’m watching penguins on Planet Earth on Discovery, and I’m feeling about as clumsy. It might just be time for bed, lol. Night!
