    wonderful surprise!:

I just got home an hour ago to a great surprise from you on my front porch! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I'm going to send a note to you by mail to send more personal thoughts! You've made my day! Love you Erin.

    :D:

Yay! I'm so glad you like the Halloween toys (or decorations, however you choose to use them, hehe). I'd made a patch of pumpkins about a week back and decided to give one to Katie, Sarah, Mom and you, and then I decided that you needed an eyeball and a spider to go with it. 😉 I thought they'd be a fun surprise in the mail. When I figure out how to make cats and bats, I'll send one of each along as well so you can have a little family of ball decorations. I'm enjoying all this crocheting so much I don't know that I have enough relatives to send toys to, lol. Now if only Halloween were closer!

    Oh shoot!:

I didn't realize that when I sent a pic from my phone that it'd leave such a small picture. That's a picture of an afghan I've been working on. It's across my lap and the ball of yarn is in a red bag at the top of the picture. I'll have to try to remember to send larger pictures from my phone next time, lol.

    That'd be a good guess. :):

I'm gonna try to remember to get the original pic off my phone and upload it so you can actually see it. I still haven't changed my phone settings though, lol.

    Kawaii ka?:

I was thinking "pretty damn happy." Are you going to have a whole town of Jack-o-lantern type vegetables?

    Si mignon!!!:

"Pretty damn happy" would be pretty descriptive of this little guy. And no, I'm not going to turn every vegetable, tuber, squash, what-have-you into a jack-o-lantern. It's just that the Irish and British didn't have pumpkins, so when they carved plant matter into lanterns, they used things like turnips and rutabagas. Hence the adorable turnip above! Ian wasn't sure it was a good idea, but when he saw the first one, he admitted that it was really cute too. 😀
