So I’m in season 8 of the X-Files. Needless to say, I’ve been watching a lot of the X-Files. We only just got all the rest of the seasons late last month, and I’m already 7.5/9ths through them. Hmm, some might look at that number as bad math. I’m not because it’s nearly three in the morning and I’m watching an episode about a guy who’s on drugs using his third eye to kill people in their dreams. I’ve spent pretty much all day in front of the X-Files crocheting. I’ve made one and a half pillowcases today as well as about five rows on the Katie blanket. Hopefully tomorrow I get some time in organizing all my stuff because I’ve got arts and crafts supplies all over the living room and den. I’m decent at organizing some stuff, but sometimes the logic of putting things away escapes me. It could be the yarn talking. Or the insanity or seven and a half seasons of the X-Files in a fairly short period of time. Or both. 🙂
Yes, that is bad math…:
Even if there was nine seasons, in all, it should mean that you would be eight ninths through them. *sigh* Whatever, my head is bothering me too much to think right anyways.
Using alternative logic…or no logic at all::
What I meant by the 7.5/9ths is that I've completed the first seven seasons and am halfway through season eight. So I'm essentially 7.5/9ths of the way through since I'm sitting at point 7.5 out of 9, right? I guess. If I said 8/9ths, that would imply that I had completely finished season 8, which I have not. So, bad math aside, it's still the ramblings of a person at an incredibly late hour after way too much sci fi. 🙂
