Making progress

I talked to Katie for a while earlier to let her know about the new craft stuff I’m doing, and she was pretty excited about it. 🙂 I figure I’ll keep a notebook next to my computer while I play on Etsy and all that to write down questions I have for her so I can just e-mail them to her en masse. Luckily, I have the husband to help me make banners and crop photos though. Hooray for marrying a graphic design geek! 😉 On the agenda now is to run out and buy a scale so I can weigh items for shipping purposes as well as a white sheet to use as a backdrop for the items I’ll be taking pictures of. All our sheets are green, black or blue or are striped. Not the best backdrops. Come to think of it, one of our sets of sheets looks almost exactly like Katie’s background on her webpage, lol. I do have a working logo so far, but I need a banner for my storefront and my alternate blog. I need soda. We’re out of soda. Oddly, despite not having had any soda yesterday afternoon or evening, I still managed to stay up damn near all night. Hooray for insomnia! It’ll help out a lot in the future if I’m ever trying to rush finishing things for a project deadline or something. Can’t see that happening anytime soon. Neh, time to go shopping. I’m thinking I want a saw. 🙂

    White sheets:

We have some white sheets if you want them. What's with a saw? Seems rather random.

Random is what I do. :):

We picked up a basic flat white sheet while we were out, so we're good. Being used as a back-drop is all it's going to be used for, so no biggie.

And the saw is for some woodworking projects I have in mind. Most of them are pretty little, so I might be able to get away with just using the Dremel to cut through dowels and the like. I figure little hand tools will be fine for most of my projects. I'm not planning on making rocking chairs like Tommy. 🙂
