I have finished the sage green afghan for Sarah. I did the last stitch sometime last night around 8:30. All I have to do now is weave the loose ends in from where I switched skeins, and it’s totally and utterly done. Woo! What a rush. I also made ten squares yesterday for the rainbow-colored afghan. I’d made twelve the day before. I think I have about 45-50 squares left to make for it, then I have to sew all those sqaures into color-coordinated strips, then I have to sew all those strips together, then I have to sew the border squares around all the colored squares, then I have to decide whether I’m putting a binding border around the whole thing or not. So uh, that blanket’s gonna take a little longer. I’ve picked up yarn for Katie’s afghan, but the store didn’t have all that I needed, so I ordered more on-line. While I was ordering yarn on-line, I ordered some navy blue for Tommy’s blanket. I already have black and white for the pillow I’m going to make Simon; I just have to work out the pattern better. After about twenty-five rows, I realized that the pattern I got off the internet (which was a pattern for knitting) wasn’t going to work with crocheting. Modifications were made, and once I get some more ink for the printer, I’ll print the new pattern off and try again. I think I’m gonna end up with a permanent groove in my left forefinger because of all the yarn that has been passing over it in the past couple weeks. So fun! At any rate, I’m gonna wander off now to play a little WoW before firing up Netflix on-line and watching random shows while crocheting some more. I’m thinking about starting Katie’s blanket. It’s a pattern I’ve never used before, so we’ll see how it turns out. Then later tonight I think Ian and I are going out on a date. We’re going to do the dinner and a movie thing that we used to when we were in high school and early college. I wanna see Batman! Woo! Have a crafty day!
