Currently, half of the couch is covered in yarn and craft projects. I’ve got the rainbow-colored granny blanket over here, the sage green halfghan as well, a pillow to fix for my niece, and a lot of black and white yarn for a pillow with a skull on the front. I’ve also got blue yarn for a blanket I’m going to start once I finalize what pattern I want to do, and there are hooks scattered all over– on the computer, on the end table, and on the seat. A quick count shows that I have five projects going right now, and I still haven’t heard from Tommy about what color blanket he’d like to have. I’m thinking red might be nice, maybe the same pattern as the green one. Guess who wants the white skull on a black pillow? He’s in our dining room right now playing WoW and drinking Mountain Dew, and he’s incredibly tall despite having come from two short parents. Yeah, I think you know who. I’ve been playing WoW most of the afternoon, but I’m thinking of putting it up so I can work on the pattern for the pillow since I have to go line by line to figure out how many stitches of each color go in what order. I think I’ll post the pattern for the pillow once I finish it so I can work out any kinks. It’ll be . . . interesting. It’s back to a hook in one hand and yarn in the other for me. The sooner I get a few of these projects off the couch, the sooner I can let someone else sit here with me, and the cat will knock down less stuff as well.
I shouldn't stay up so late:
I read the part about fixing a pillow for your niece and I thought, hey wait how does she have a niece and I don't? And then I realized you were talking about my daughter. Doh…
Get off the couch:
And see the new batman, my god, the awesomness oozes from the very screen.
One of the best movies I've seen in a long long time.
