This weather has been nutsy, and as it is with nutsy weather, my joints have been nutsy as well. I take Aleve every day which helps, believe me, but there’s only so much you can do against bad joints. I mentioned in the previous post about how it’ll be nice to get off the couch and get to cleaning, and it’s true I do spend a lot of time on the couch or futon, mainly because of my joints. I’m thinking that another thing I want to try and get back into this summer is my yoga program. I’m missing the tape I used to use (and really loved) but I have a couple DVDs. I figure once I have more time again, I’ll be able to consistenly get into a yoga routine. I also want to break the DDR pad back out now that the living room’s cleaner (or was, it’s a little cluttered at the moment) and also get the elliptical in a location where I can run on it while playing Pokémon. It’s not really counterintuitive that more movement means better joints; it all depends on the type of movement. Standing and walking on concret floors is not good movement. Stretching and low-impact movement is good, and I sorely (pun intended) need it. So here in about a week and a half, I’ll no longer be standing all day and can instead spend some time repairing the damage done to my crappy joints. I’m also hoping that some good stretching will help my back and shoulders which have been getting progressively worse in the past month.
Fun post, eh? I’m not a big fan about posting about random aches and pains, but it has been such an annoyance over the past couple weeks that I felt like rambling for a while. It’s not like I post much most of the time anyway. What little time I spend on-line is generally checking some comics. Maybe this summer I’ll also get back to my TKT posts. I even have some comic ideas I’d like to draw up and post. So many plans! My plan right now? Clean all the stacks of papers off the couch. so I can kick my legs up.
Mice?:
I'm looking forward to the weather outside getting warm enough to spend time in shorts and no shoes (darn global warming). At least the weather is warm enough so I use the stairs more at work.
Does Kitty want the mice off the couch also?

??:
What happened to the mice on the couch? Now my first blog doesn't make sence (if it did to begin with).

Heh:
I wouldn't worry about it. I figure after a while, this post'll end up buried somewhere and no one will remember it anywho. It'll still be mice to get off the couch for a while though. 😉
