I think somehow I was born hard-wired for the color green. I see lots of green and just feel better–calmer, happier, more relaxed, more peaceful, less irritable, less stressed, etc. The color scheme on my computer is green down to the widget clock I always keep open on the desktop. I prefer green sodas, though a lot of that has to do with the taste (dark colas turn my stomach). I’ve got a number of green blankets, a lot of green clothes, and my favorite pair of sandals are green (and I also spent a lot of green on them: they were nearly $60). I have green office supplies from green tape dispensers and a green ruler to green totes and green pens. If you haven’t noticed, the color scheme of Writing in Green is…green. For a split second, I thought about changing the font for this post to make it green then realized that it’s always green!
So now that Spring is in full swing, everything around me is green. Damn, that rhymed far more than intended, but you get the point. The seemingly interminable drive back and forth between the house and LGT is infinitely more tolerable thanks to the foliage, grasses, and flowers. Pollen be damned, I’ll happily accept allergies so long as everything around me is green in the world. I suddenly feel like eating some broccoli or lettuce or green apples. Green food is good too. 🙂 Woo, GO GREEN! Makes me happy. ^_^

I like blue also:
Nothing is better than everything on the ground being green and a clear blue sky above. Green and blue go together.
Love, Dad
Me too!:
Blue's my second favorite color. Then black. I have to say my least favorite color would probably be pink. 😛
