The local Wal-Mart sells snails! When I saw that, I immediately wanted one. We had moved some of our old tank stuff here to the house in Jasper, but it’s in the basement (and probably not in any condition for living critters right now) so I went ahead and got a new little tank and a couple little decorations for it. I’ve set it up here in the living room so it can acclimate and whatnot. Tomorrow we’ll go and actually pick up the snail. I’m also thinking about picking up two little fish too. All three will be a brilliant gold color which will stand out against the blue gravel, red and green plants, and black filter. So exciting! I’ll likely take some pictures with my phone, but as always, I’ll forget to connect the Blue Tooth to get them off and upload to the page. I’m dingy like that. 🙂 Hmm… I just realized I’ll need to come up with names for my new friends. Maybe I’ll have Kitty help. After all, she did name Squeak.
