Just random tidbits. Ian’s snoring right now across the room on the futon hence the title. I’m watching Mega Disasters on The History Channel; this one’s about the New Madrid fault under the Midwest. I’ve seen it before, but it’s really just on for noise. Kitty keeps trying to get out because we took her out a week ago. We might take her out later this week, but today’s a bit nippy and the ground’s pretty wet; I don’t want to have to clean up Kitty’s muddy paw prints. We had chicken tenders and potato wedges for dinner. Yesterday, my “me” day, I played some Pokémon (it’s been months since I’ve played) and have my seventh badge now and my highest Pokémon is level 51. I’m thinking about hitting Bramble at some point so I can borrow their GBAs so I can transfer a Pokémon from my Fire Red game to my Leaf Green game. I figure once I beat Pokémon Diamon, I’ll really need to catch all the Pokémon in one or the other of my GBA games so I can transfer them to my main. I’m lame. We found those green Oreos at the store. Haven’t opened them yet though. Kitty’s shedding already. I got two French movies in the mail this week. Le Dîner de cons and Le Placard, both hilarious comedies. We now have up to DVD 265 in HoL, our on-line library program. I still need to catalogue the 50-pack movies though. Sudoku is fun. I really ought to start the laundry. Later!
Oh! I forgot to wish everyone a happy Pi Day Friday. (Yes, that rhymes; shut up). I even wrote a tiny bit of pi across the top of my board and then explained it to my students so that they were likewise running around wishing everyone happy Pi Day. I think it’s awesome when they get interested in something cute and different like that. I hope they wished their math and science teachers happy Pi Day as well! Here’s a slice of pi for all of you: 3.141592653589793238462643383279502884197169399375105820974944592307815406
