Kitty’s been acting hinky…well, hinkier than usual. I mean, she’s always had issues, being something of a psychotic little furball who’s sometimes sweet and cuddly. At any rate, she’s been really sensitive and moody lately, and even more than that, her back is really sensitive and bothering her. At first, I just thought she was having problems with really dry skin again like every other winter, but today she managed to lick off about half of her fur in one place. I just noticed it about twenty minutes ago, and after much chasing her around trying to catch her to look at it, I noticed little brown/black spots on her skin. Fleas! Well, I assume they’re fleas. That’s as much of a look as I got at them. As soon as the husband gets home, we’re running in to get her a flea collar and some meds to take care of it. Poor little Kittikins. 🙁 I don’t like seeing her suffer. Maybe we’ll get some gooshy food for her to cheer her up. I think she’ll like that.
