Getting ready

Well, I’m more or less ready for orientation tomorrow. Then our in-service days are Thursday and Friday. I even got a letter from the school today about the in-service days. It was mailed here to the parents’ house, heh. Due to my last name’s position in the alphabet, I’m to bring a salad or casserole. Woo? At any rate, I’m seriously looking forward to orinetation tomorrow because then maybe I’ll get a clue as to what’s going on. I figure I’ll spent Wednesday in the classroom finishing my organizing and then I’ll have the weekend to putz around with lesson plans and the like. I spent a fair portion of yesterday evening and today just organizing the bedroom I’m in now so that it’s liveable. I could use more shelf space but I’ll live for now. I’ll probably grab more books the next time I’m in the Haute which will make shelves necessary, but I can do without for the time being. After all, I’m not sure when the next trip to the Haute will be. I gotta say I miss the husband and the cat a lot, but I’m occupying myself with South Park and working on the room and my computer. It’s going to be an interesting week, and next week will be even crazier, but I’ll manage. After all, I have tea, I have my laptop, and I have my dictionaires. I’ll be fine. Now if only I had the husband and cat, then I’d be great. Oh well, I hope he hasn’t totally obliterated all signs of my existence yet since I’ve gone. I’ll want my crafts crap. 🙂

    Just here to…:

…provide you with support for your day today! I hope orientation went well. 🙂

Oh, and from reading Too Much Effort, I think you should rethink what the differences are between fine and great. LOL (throwing your stuff around)

    Orientation:

Orientation wasn't as disorienting as I thought it might be. The insurance, 401a/403b and the like were a bit much, but I did get my phone number and e-mail addy and all that, so a productive day. I'm spending the evening watching the Godfather with Rook and working on lesson plans. Woo!
