I know I haven’t finished typing up all of Book One in the Solennelle & O series, but I have had the major urge to begin work on Book Two. I have had the urge to work on it before, but I wanted to wait until I got a particular type of notebook. Since I started work on the books in France, I was using French notebooks of a particular brand which I really like with a line style I also really like. I tried to find it on-line to order several of the style I want, but every attempt I made went awry and therefore I haven’t got any of the type of notebook I wanted for the remaining books. I’m picky when it comes to what I write important stuff on, being picky about both cover texture and paper texture as well as the size of the lines and margins. I prefer to handwriting my creative works rather than just typing them up as I edit them far less during writing when using pen and paper. So, I finally gave up on trying to get the notebooks I like on-line and instead ran out to grab some basic lined journals to begin my work on the novels again. Most of the journals I looked at were far too small or thin or ugly or costly, but I found a few that look like they’ll work just fine. So as soon as this episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation is off, I think I’ll start my scribbling. Exciting!
