Jingle bells

I’ve got jingle bells stuck in my head, as usual. It’s the default song that pops in my brain when there isn’t anything else in there to sing. Currently, I have a student in my office taking his final exam. He showed up in the last twenty minutes of the test thinking the test was at noon rather than ten, and I figured that since I haven’t much else to do, I’d just let him take it in my office while I read blogs.

Speaking of blogs, I’m excited to see that Sarah has a blog now at http://www.thescfiles.blogspot.com/ so I can keep up on her fun adventures out in snow country. I can’t wait till she starts taking pictures of all the winter wonderlandness out there ’cause I’m sure that’ll be interesting to see. Now if we could get our two brothers to start a blog, all the siblings would have one. Fun!

Today is Emily and Ally’s eighth birthday. Crazy! I mean, they were born the same year I graduated high school. It doesn’t seem like that long ago, but I guess it really was! I remember when they were born, all small and wrinkly (They even had wrinkly knees!) and squeaky. They’re so cute! I’m the luckiest aunt in the world to have such great nieces and nephews. 🙂 Of course, Katie still wants to be an aunt, but she’s got a while to wait on that. Sorry! If it’s any consolation, I refer to you as Aunt Katie when I’m talking to the cat. 😀

I need to update my website. Maybe after the mass final exam grading spree, I’ll get to work on that. Of course, there is still all the crocheting and wrapping and cleaning and such to do… Oh well. 🙂 I’m gonna go clean my desk for a while. Later!

Adendum: (1:10pm) My student just left, and to waste time, I thought I’d mess with the comics I have linked that I used to read all the time but have gotten away from (Thanks in part to teaching but mostly to the Nintendo DS), and I figured I’d cull some. And cull I did: 29 moved from the main section to the “No longer reading” section. Holy cow! I wonder if I could cut some more out too and make an even more manageable number…

    More bloggers?:

Can they blog on the slow dial-up? Tommy doesn't get on the internet very often because of it.

    Love, Dad
