No time for a TKT today. I figure that next week I should be able to get one up because I’ll have office hours but no lesson plans to mess with and just two classes’ worth of finals to grade that day. This week though is far too busy. I’ve got four stacks of papers to grade through before tomorrow; I’ve got departmental stuff I need to get done by tomorrow; I have a final to write for my fourth class as well as a study guide for the same; I am going to get four more stacks of paper tomorrow to grade; I have to sort through all the student evaluation sheets I’ve gotten to make sure I’ve got enough to administer tomorrow; I have a stack of sheets I have to fill out for Basic Studies; I have to get my schedule in to Dr. Calvin and our departmental secretary; I have a stack of mail to get through; I have a bunch of e-mails to sift through; my desk is a mess; I have to meet up with Keri about next semester before we both part ways this semester; there’s a mess of grades I need to enter into my gradebook; and I still have to calculate all the grades for all my classes, which many of my students want now so they can tell how they’re doing before the final. Um, yeah. So I’m gonna go do some of that right now since I’m going to be in here until two though about a half an hour of my time here today is going to be eaten up by students coming in to do the interview exam. I just got out of the Basic Studies meeting (8 o’clock meetings should be banned) and now I need tea or something to keep me warm here by the window. Madness. At least I’ve got some crocheting should I decide I seriously need a break. And I will.
Tell me about it.:
I've got a day off today. Which will be taken up with dishes, sorting through the giant pile of clothes we call clean laundry, working on my transition to teaching application, looking through the praxis book, making more aquarium water, dealing with some other stuff, xmas shopping (browsing amazon). Although it's not nearly as much as you have, it's still going to be rough.
