Lazy Sunday evening

Ah, lazy, lazy Sunday evenings. I’m currently watching some bad old horror movies and getting things ready for my four classes tomorrow. I figure the most important thing to do tonight is work up some sort of study guide since three of my four classes are taking their first exam Wednesday, and the fourth is taking their exam Friday. I can’t seem to concentrate on lesson plans though since I’ve been distracted by both reading through my daily comics and taking silly on-line quizzes (to be put up later on the About page at some point). It would probably help if I weren’t also watching movies, but they’re just so delightfully bad. One of these days, I need to get my 50-packs of bad horror/sci-fi movies back from Dad so I can re-watch some of them. Metropolis pops to mind as well as The Bat. For right now, I’m watching Silent Night, Bloody Night after having just finished Horror Express.

I’ve come up with another idea for a novel, one completely unrelated to the Solennelle series I’ve been working on since France. This one’s going to be more of a historical (or an historical, depending on how anal you are) novel. I believe I’ll have it set in the time period of François 1er. I might work up a summary to toss up on the Writings page later. I’ve also been meaning to toss up a summary of the abstract of my thesis there as well, but haven’t gotten around to it. So many random things to try and keep track of, so many little projects I’ve been putting off for so long… I really ought to make a list, oughtn’t I? At any rate, I’m still putting off grading and lesson plans, so I really ought to wander off, grab a cuppa and then get to work. Hope everyone’s weekend went over well!

    Wish I had more time:

Volleyball season started and I don't have much time to watch anything now so I should probably get them back to you. Not sure when I could get up there though.

    Love, Dad
