I graduate from ISU today with my Master’s in Languages, Literatures and Linguistics, emphasis French. Wow. I wonder when I’ll get my diploma thingie. I wonder when I’ll officially get the job as a French adjunct then since it was dependant upon my graduation date. The husband and I should do something special tonight, like finishing the dishes or getting the stinky trash out of here. 😉 We have low standards of celebration. So I graduate with my Master’s with no party, no robes, no pomp and circumstance at all, really. Oh well, it’s just my Master’s, after all. I figure a party when I get my PhD will be more expected. At any rate, go me! I finished something somewhat important!

Edit: I just got a card in the mail from Katie and the gang, so I guess I get a little pomp and stuff today after all. Thanks, big sis!
